Back Off You Guys
Did you get lost or something? Our last day before we take a 20 hour journey to Lithuania via Poland with Eurolines.
Spent the day spoiling ourselves with the local fare.
Cakes and ice cream being top of the list. Had a hunch we were being followed, at every turn the spies were there.
Caught them in the act, I know you guys at TNT volunteered to carry our luggage -
But can't you take no for an answer!!! Following day raced to the bus station before our metro ticket ran out. (our 3 days ended at 10.37am and we didn't want to buy another ticket,
Tight Wads ) Waited for our 1.30pm connection.......
Filled the time eating anything that looked good - Didn't time fly, always does when you're having fun.....
Journey started in an argument with the driver, he couldn't understand that our e-ticket was for the both of us and tried to charge extra for what he saw was additional luggage.
The journey was long and uncomfortable, our only relief came when "Fric" and "Frac" boarded at Kralove. (Thought the names suited them) Both from India, speaking english and Czech,
Yummy
Say no more!!!
Its what we both love,,,, but of absolutely no help in speaking to the Lithuanian drivers. ("Senna" and "Prost", named for obvious reasons)
"Senna" and "Prost" being heavy smokers, stopped often for a cigarette -
they even got out at traffic jams to have a puff. Took an hour to get through the Polish border, We blame "Fric" and "Frac", Obviously they were collecting stamps for something!!
Poland was very different from what we imagined. Very green and flat. Warsaw reminded us any major city with its flashing neons everywhere.
On leaving Poland "Fric" and "Frac" held us up, yet again!!!
We told them they should have enough stamps for a toaster by now -
Good job they had the same sense of hunour as us.
