Hi, Audrey here, just departing Leith.
Today started with a rosin hunt as mine seems to be sitting on the shelf at home. To buy rosin on a Sunday you have to go to a newsagent. The secret is this .... Phone the local Edinburgh music shop on Saturday to make you order, then he takes it across the road to his mate so I can buy it on a Sunday. What fantastic service!! Restores one's faith in human nature. Such friendly folk too.
Puzzle for someone interested in industrial history. Ediburgh to Leith is connected by a very long road called Grand Juncion Road. What was the junction? Canal? Rail? Colin this is one perhaps for you to solve.Answers on a box of rosin please!
