Hi!

Had a few fantastic days in Malawi. We've been camping right on the edge of Lake Malawi at Kande Beach. Have been waking up early each morning (think someone's been playing around with my body clock because i never wake up early without an alarm!) Has been great wakingup though to the calm and stillness of the lake and sitting on the beach in my PJs reading my book and watching the day begin!

There was a small island a little way off the shore and a group of us swam out there - it was good fun although a bit challenging as the waves get big on the lake as the day progresses. gave us something to do though and a bit of exercise never hurt anyone! Apart from that, i've been pretty lazy and sunned myself on the beach and topped up my tan. Getting on really well with some of the girls - although cracks are starting to appear occasionally with some friendships, inevitable i suppose with the number of girls on the trip!

Kate and Jason our tour leaders spent all day preparing a hog roast for us one night which was absoultely amazing and enjoyed by everyone. Didn't know what the food would be like on this trip but so far we are eating a lot better than i could have imagined!

Spent our last full day on the beach yesterday and in the afternoon we were joined by one of the other Africa Trucks 'Acacia'. We ended up playing volleyball on the beach with some of their group which was great fun. Wish we had nice weather at home so we could play beach volleyball!

Have been enjoying the evenings around the bar, having a good old natter and getting to know people better as well as drinking and playing a few games of pool! IT's all fun fun fun.

Got a couple of days in Lilongwe the capital of Malawi and then we cross the border into Mozambique.

Take care
Love Sarah x

Don't think I'd swap some of your toilet facilities as I like my home comforts too much!Hope you enjoy the rest of the trip. Love Dinks and Joe.
