Day 3
Finally got my luggage, had to walk into the city..and find LAN airlines, You thought the airline would bring my bags to me since they lost them, but it was nice to have a change of clothes after 4 days, should have given them a sacrificial burning.
Everywhere you go there are these little chubby old ladies in colourful shawls selling dodgy food around a make do table, it must be good it attracts plenty of locals.
And there are also many boys who polish shoes, they all wear balaclavas its a bit freaky looking, you don't know if they are going to polish you shoes or do you harm....
some areas you go into smell like a toilet, not sure if the locals just use the streets but it isn't to pleasant,
Am embarking on a city tour today, and a tour of the mountains tommorrow so will add this to my next blog

What a nasty time you have had with Qantas. Hope you have a wonderful holiday. Mum was really disappointed not to see you. Chris looked tired, I think the business is struggling over winter. Mike and I drove around the north island looking for a large family home with a few acres of land but can't find anything we like. Poor mum looked after Jacob but I don't think I'll be doing that again. Jacob gets very confused and even when mum says he was no trouble, I know he is hard work.
