Heyyyy everyone! We're back in Athens. I'm actually quite happy to be back in the city. 😊

Yesterday we climbed up 999 stairs up to Palamidi which is an old stone fort type thing that Kolokotroni was held in prison. It was not at all hard on the legs, surprisingly! We also walked down the 999 steps. Afterwards we took the bus to Epidavro to see the ancient theatre. For dinner we met up with the family that took us to Kandila.

And surprise! Another bus ride this morning, but to take us back into ATHENS!

I have to say I really love Athens. A lot. We're back in the same hotel (and the same rooms!). We went to Starbucks (where RUFUS was playing on the radio okay this is amazing) and did some more shopping. We attempted to go swimming but the water was waaaayyy too cold.

Well, I don't want to hog the computer any more, so I should go.
Love to all!

Happy to hear from you
The 4th is just around the corner and I'm going to miss spending the day on Wilshire. To pass the time I'm walking in the Glenview 4th of July parade with my coworkers from the Glenview Library. It is suppose to be hot and raining. But I'm getting paid time and half so that's OK. Angela of course will spend the holiday working on the Odessey. Have a safe and speeeeeedy trip home. Thanks again for the Zakynthos photos. They were a hit with Yiayia
