My last day!

The time has come to say goodbye to this lovely palace and all that goes with it! The property truly is stunning as are the majority of the nearly one thousand staff. But with anything this big there comes politics and in fighting and this is what I cannot stand about this place. Can and will any hotel ever stack up to this one? But believe me it is only beautiful on the outside. I would rather work in a smaller property where I can actually do my job and enjoy my work!
I am still in talks with The Rotana group in Dubai and if all goes well then I should start at The Al Bustan Rotana in about three weeks. A smaller property that deals in mainly corporate business. More managable at 275 rooms and undergoing a full refurb.
Hopefully a trip to the UK in between to catch up with a whole host of people that I've not seen in a long time.

Emirates do flights direct to Glasgow so you should come for a proper pint! Laura is visiting me here on 6th July and we're trying to arrange a weekend in Dublin with Lynette too.
