Unfortunately before we knew it Saturday had arrived and it was time for us all to leave. Andy, Beth, Ben and Kelly were leaving to go to Bangkok as Andy and Beth were heading hjome from there on Tuesday, Ben was heading down to Bangkok with them before heading down to the islands, and Kelly was heading there to catch her flight back to Sydney, Australia and me and Laura were leaving to head to chiang Mai so we all had to say a buig goodbye to each other, Dave and Carrie were staying in Pai for a little longer. So we all got pictures taken and saidf our goodbye's, it was so sad to leave them as the past 4 days had been terrific, but we did then me and Laura got our bus at 1.30 to Chiang Mai, it took around 4 hours to get here by mini-bus and the journey was good, the bus was half empty so we could spread out and relax while listening to our ipods and chatting away.
We got to chiang Mai and went in search of a guesthouse charlie (Lonely Planet) told us about, but it wasnt nice so we went else where, after seeing the most disgusting toilwet in the world we eventually got to one which was perfect and called 'Julie's Guesthouse' . It was a twin bed room with bathroom which was super clean, nicely decorated and came with big fan-just what we were looking for! So we checked in then headed out for some nice dinner and a trip around the market, the market seemed quite good but we were done in so headed back to room for early night. Our Sunday here was a chill out morning, or sleep morning should i say to catch up then we chilled out having a wander around, we got told there was aSuinday market that was really good so we headed to that a bit later on, it was brilliant and we got some skirts, tops etc at it, really good! We also had our dinner there, it was magic and super super cheap 😊 The people are very friendly here in Chiang Mai, i think all over Thai's are very nice and help in any way they can, so welcoming. I think our stay here in Thailand was going to be good!!!! We had planned to do some classes over the next few days and were really excited!
