For Sale
Low Mileage, Careful owners, pristine tyres... So today was another cursed day on the van front! We drove as far as the supermarket, only to have the van conk out! 3 hours and many phone calls later we eventually got towed- to the wrong garage!! Thankfully they agreed to diagnose the van tomorrow, but that left us abandoned in a random shopping complex, in the dark and the rain. I have never been so grateful to know someone who lives close by- our friends Erica and Phil who we met in Fiji came to the rescue and we are now ensconced back in a house! We shall see tomorrow what the damage is. And we thought a brand new engine was the last of our van troubles.
We have been in Newcastle since Friday night, staying in a student house for the first time since leaving uni. We have had a bed, good food and a great laugh. The house almost burnt down, and we had to bbq in the rain, but have enjoyed it none the less! We even got to go and walk on the beach by the washed up ship that I am sure you have all seen on the news. Alex
also had a go at kite surfing (although he remained on dry land!). The weather is appalling with strong winds and rain- the wettest June since 1964!
Photos will follow- once we get the van back.
If you haven't seen the ship check out:

Van Wanted
Potential Australian migrant seeks van in October, all reasonable sets of wheels considered. mail to baldmadvanman@hotmale.com. I have 10 Lithuanian Litas as offer of exchange (can't change it for any hard currency, so thought you might be interested as it's worth about £1). Hope to hear soon.
