Capri
beautiful island off the coast of naples lets see...last time we wrote we were in naples about to hop on a boat for a daytrip to Capri. the island was AMAZING!! such natural beauty there, and not many tourists. we spent the whole day baking ourselves on the beach next to beautiful greenish blue water. it was a good day.
then we took a 16 hour ferry to greece. we have been in athens for 3 days now...and we don't want to leave. we love it more than we imagined we would. our hostel is amazing...right under the acropolis and it has a rooftop bar where we all hung out every night. we spent our first day here wondering around with a new found friend. we explored the acopolis and the little markets that surround it. this city is absolutely amazing. so full of history.
the second day we did the same thing...wondered around without a map just exploring the little nooks and crannies that athens has to offer. the people here are hilarious and really really nice too. nothing bad about it here at all. we wish we could stay longer and explore the islands, but tonight we are hopping on a 30 hour

on the top of the acropolis... ferry at midnight to head to venice.
we are still having the time of our lives...but we have to admit that we are getting a little bit homesick. the things that you miss while traveling for this long of a period of time are shocking...mexican food, toilet seats, normal cheese, big grocery stores, taco bell....things you would never think you'd miss. and of course our friends and family...but thats a given 😊
26 days of travel left...its going to fly by...we still have 8 cities in 5 countries to visit along with 2 friends from highschool. its going to be amazing!!
