Our last day in SF and esp the Golden Gate Bridge but also other stuff.

Lots of traffic.
Our hardest task was finding the parking lot and visitors center at the south end of the bridge.

Cross section of large cable
Each dot in the end of that cross-cut section is about .8 cm or 1/4". That cable is about 60 cm ( 2 feet) in diameter.

Don's neat attire!
As I said, we thought it would be warmer. I wore my 'capri' length pants and sport sandals. When we got out of the car to make our hike we deciced it was very cool in that north-west wind. So I put on my socks and shoes, jacket and cap. Very California-like style don't ya think ?

Inside the Legion of Honor Gallery. Here we viewed a very exculsive collection of French Jewelry - million dollar necklaces , etc. Could not photograph. But we did some of the paintings and other art works

Self Portrait in the Washroom
I like that one. I imagine the flower's essence was an improvement on that of some other self-portraits taken in this room that you have perhaps chosen to not share with us. :)
