Bodyboarding at Burleigh After our first night back in the van, Anne wasn't feeling too rested after overnight duvet wars! I felt groggy still and was beginning to wonder if i was allergic to my tablets! We discovered the 'rash' was ant bites and i was feeling lousy regardless of when i took the pills!
A lot is to be said about the power of the sun. A day on Burleigh Heads beach in the Ozzie sun soon restored the both of us. Anne first braved the waves while i took pictures from the beach.
After a spot of lunch and a cruise through the shops in town, i felt well enough to get in the water. Anne sat on the headland and filled in the gaps in her diary while i got pounded on the point!
All in all we are feeling soo much better for getting a few rays and being outdoors. Unfortunately it is forecast to rain weds & thurs. We are hoping to be in Byron Bay then, and that the magic of the place will outshine the weather.

Mmmmm, yes, it's a bit like 'Where's Wally?' without the scarves. He's definitely the one in the water with the surfboard.
