Here are some pics of my life in the past months. I am learning Korea, but realizing how much I don't understand. I may learn areas or part of the language but the gap is great. It's humbling! I think I start to understand and then I see a man in a shinny silver suit w/pink (its reflective) or something and realize, its not my culture. Shinny suits are often seen on Sundays. And this is one of many observations. I guess I will say it, it is something one must experience. MUCH LOVE and more to come...

Itaewon is an area where a lot of westerners go, so english is spoken often. And you see american soliders everywhere, strange really.

I stepped out of the subway to find all these police. I guess there was a protest somewhere, but I didn't see anything.

New Pictures
I'm glad you're feeling better now that Spring has arrived. The pictures you sent are beautiful and really interesting. I hope the teaching is going OK for you. Your mom fills me in once in awhile. What will be happening during the summer? Do you teach straight through? I'm glad you have some American friends to hang out with. I'm sure that makes things easier for you. Take care, Maggie, and stay safe!! I love you! Aunt Gail

Maggie you are absolutely amazing!
I'm really enjoying your blog's. If it's true that at the end of our lives, we rarely regret the things that we did, but rather the things that we didn't do, you will die with no regrets. I am sure that your life there has many struggles, but what an amazing experience. I remember feeling homesick at times when I was abroad for a long period of time, but soak it all in, it will all end too soon.
