April 26th 2007 so our first stop on our road trip was the coromandles!

we went to cathedral cove, a nice beach with a massive rock with a hole in that you can walk through to another beach! was pretty nice. really nice view out over all the islands there aswell!
next we went to hot water beach. here when the tides out if you dig a hole hot water comes through and you can make your own little pool. looks so funny everyone digging on the beach then sitting in these pools! they get pretty hot, we couldnt sit in them too long! but was pretty awsome though!

later in the evening we drove down to rotorua! the drives everywhere are so scenic we had many photo stops at random places!
we got to rotorua quite late and managed our first night in the van! itrs pretty comfy!

today we went up the gondala and luged down which was great fun! the weather clouded over later on and it started raining which wasnt so fun! got wet! we are off for a swim tonight! thenheading down to taupo tommorrow!~

New Zealand looks awesome Emms - don't think I'll bother to go to Steart for a walk with the dog - not quite the same somehow (in fact think I'll just pop out and slash my wrists) hee hee
