We'll be coming.......We'll be coming.......We'll be coming.......

A long range snap of the boys
Today Wednesday was a total chill out day for us all. The boys started to appear from 9am which is quite a bit later than normal.Breakfast was good as well but there were no beans today! That did not go down too well I can tell you! We have made a special request to the chef but I think we had missing beans one day last week too!

Most of the team headed for the beach to relax and enjoy the sunshine as the holiday comes to a close. Some went for lunch and some went back to the pool.We have met many wonderful and interesting people on our travels and certainly the most being around our pool. Some of the chat has been excellent. A few of the Ozzie TV crew have had some bizarre stories to share with us which has kept us all amused.

We hooked up a bit earlier than usual for Evening Dinner at 7am this time for a couple of drinks as we were going to be having an early night due to our early start on Thursday for the Holland match. Dinner was disapointing with a few of the

guys moaning that it wasn't up to high standard that we have come to expect from our resident Gordon Ramsey.

After dinner some guys went back to the bar where Karaoke was starting, just to watch of course! and a few walked along to The Marriot to have a walk round the massive casino, you would not believe how many Americans sit with huge cigars and throw money away as if it was going out of fashion!

The Marriot guys were home by 10pm and the Karaoke guys were in their beds too, so all in all a very quiet and peacful day was had by all...........Thursday is a big day for us with the Wooden Spoon decider V Holland.

To be continued..........

to avoid the wooden spoon from Group A.

After both sides suffered heavy defeats to Australia and South Africa, pride is all that is at stake from the match.

However, having beaten the Netherlands twice in their previous two meetings, Scotland are in confident mood.

"We have got to go out and show we are one of the top associate teams. We are expected to win for a change," said stand-in Scotland skipper Ryan Watson.

"Holland are a strong side who have run us close a couple of times. But this is a big game and a big thing for us as a team."

Scotland are ranked as the top associate side after their impressive recent showing in the World Cricket League, where they lost in the final to Kenya.

During that series the Scots beat the Netherlands by two runs, and Watson, who is expected to stand down as captain when Craig Wright returns to the side after a family bereavement, believes his side can repeat that win - as long as they improve their fielding.

consolation for us

"South Africa were magnificent in the field ," he said.

"Those are the sort of standards we have to go and achieve if we're going to win against the Netherlands."

However, the Netherlands are equally determined not to finish their World Cup campaign on a low.

Two heavy defeats have left the Dutch bottom of the Group A table because of their -5.00 run rate.

But a victory over Scotland would provide the perfect tonic, according to captain Luuk van Troost, who said: "We are looking to win that game and if we do it would be a consolation for us."

Entertainment
Splendid to watch you all, I was in stitches, Buster Bloodvessel was the star. Thoroughly amused with the rain dance, and the fact no one tried to catch the 6 ball....
