Let me just say I never want to leave here.

I LOVE London! I've been on Cloud 9 overtime since we've been here. I'll try to recap as much as possible what we've done while we've been here.

First of all, a certain someone on our trip (and many of you who know me and are reading this will know who this is) made these wonderful comments since we've been here:

1. "I like my beggars to be concise and humble!"

2. "Show us your bullocks!!"

3. "F**cking wheelchair!!"

4. "That over there is the worst Greek restaurant in all of western Europe."

5. "Raise your hand if you've ever had a BJ in a Starbucks!" (and the said person was the only one to raise their hand)

I'll let you all later know who that was. But like I said, I think you know.

Here is also what I'VE said since we've been here:

1. "I want to touch it before I go inside of it!" (When talking about Westminster Abbey--I like to run up and touch the side of the buildings)

2. "I'm going to take a pit stop against this wall." (I had to lean on a wall and fix my shoe...more on that later)

3. "I want to touch Big Ben! Not Big Ben's extension!"

And this is what Adam said:

"Pussy darts??"

And Adam also caused a guard to speak! He said, "SIR!" when Adam tried to open a door. Guess he wasn't supposed to do that. That takes talent to make them speak.

Anyhoo, since we've been here, Adam and I have memorized the way to the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey. We've been there 3 times already. They are so awesome, plus they are within nice walking of our hotel. We've got some nice Big Ben pictures.

Sadly, I don't think I'll be able to upload any pictures until I get back to the US. The internet cafes don't work well for doing that, from what I've been able to find.

What else? I now know for certain that London is as culturally diverse as people say it is; it didn't get the rep for being the most culturally diverse city in Europe for nothing. Within the last few full days that we've been here we've litterally been standing in the street and heard people walking one after another speaking English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Chinese, and other languages I can't easily recognize. I love it! It makes for a great city. I think it's London's biggest selling point.

All of London's eating places are great too. I've been expanding my eating horizons since we've been here. Tonight Adam and I ate at a pub in Covent Garden called "The Essex Pub" (We can't remember the full name, but it's in Covent Garden). We had really awesome fish and chips there. It was really cool; I wish I could remember the full name. We ate on the second level and it was very bohemian. Our group ate at the Palm Court Restaurant just across from it last night in Covent Garden. It was also very good. Very international atmosphere there. Today we also ate at another place for lunch today called the Pizza Express. It was just off of Tottenham Court Road; PG said they had the best pizza in all of England. It was very tasty. I had Mushroom Ravioli there. On Sunday Adam, me, and a student had a traditional Sunday lunch of yorkshire pudding and steak with PG at a pub called "The Marquis of Granby". It's a pub chain here in London, but it's really good. I've also never had yorkshire pudding before. I suggest you all try it. I didn't even know it was a type of bread, but it is. PG said it was what many English people traditionally have for lunch on Sundays. He also said that it was the best stuff his dad ever made aside from making him.

Our site seeing has mostly consisted of the area of Whitehall and Westminster. We went around the old city a little yesterday, and saw St. Paul's Cathedral and the Old Bailey. That was beyond words! I love old architecture, so I'm going crazy here. I'm in love. Adam, me, and another girl walked around the Houses of Parliament last night from about 11-midnight. It was so much fun! We got to hear Big Ben sound at midnight and take pretty night pictures. I got to touch Parliament! We also got to ride on the Tube (and here them say, "Mind the Gap!") and ride in the double decker buses and a hackney cab. There's even some pink ones!!

I only have 10 minutes left, so I'd better go! Long live the Queen!

Too much fun!
I used to keep a running quote list from class. :-D Priceless! I am glad you are having fun! I'm still insanely jealous. But I'm taking my much-loved road trip to Park's Library. On the bright side, it hit almost 75 degrees today! Your pets say "Hello" and "Kate spoils us". See ya! Peace out
