Cathedral Cove
Our first longish walk of the trip! Today we caught the Kiwi Experience bus that will be taking us around the whole of NZ. Our first stop was hot water beach at Mercury Bay. Hot water beach is not an understatement. Everyday after Low Tide for about an hour n half you can dig holes and make natural hot spas...so cool. There were points where it got seriously hot though, kinda like putting your foot in a kettle. HOT!
After the heat had stopped we headed of to Cathedral Cove and did (for us) a very long walk in the heat. It took 45 minutes each way to reach a really small but amazing cove, the scenery on the way was amazing too.
The next day we had an early start of 7.30 and headed of to Rotorua. On the way we stopped of and did a scenic walk at a place we can't remember the name of, something like Taheri Gorge...anyhoo it was pretty stunning although I did have to whack out the rain coat.
When we arrived in Rotorua (which is a smelly town cos of all the suplhur..bad egg smell) we watched some guys on our bus do Zorbing then we went up a

A walk we did along on old railway in an old mining town...not a clue wot it's called! massive cable car and did this thing called luging. So so much fun. It's kind of like a sled on wheels and you go whizzing down the mountain. The things don't look powerful but they sure pick up some speed. laura got left behind on the first run for being a cautious driver but pulled through on the second run down where Sam managed to lose his flip-flop on the gondola ride back up. A fun filled day.

Looks like you are having an awesome time...im jealous grr but i have to say that it looks like it has been raining! aha it is sunny at the moment in England woop! Yes anyway lugging sounds well good, Ill give it a go someday. It is only 11 days till the 24th march yay!
