Au Nang and The Elephants

Current Mood: Excited.

Where on earth did i leave you! I think it was at a point i said id mail you from the back of an Elephant!! Well that turned out to be Hard work because like last time the elephant listens to no man and wanted to go where ever it would please! That and i Had no Link up!! This aint the ritz you know!

Well we woke early enough on Koh Tao and packed up! After paying our bills to the Resort and booking a Tax it was only a short while before we were up and sailing between the lovely Islands of Koh Samui and Koh Phangan! A shame not to be stopping due to time but in excitement of whats to come Myself Pierre and April all had grabbed the Back seat on the Boat Deck Where we could catch some rays and take in the Scenery! It was great!! Almost felt like the Years wait had flown and i was now Content (like in Nam) with what my life was to bring me!!

Well the heat of the Day set in so Pierre and april ducked down under in the VIP bit to catch some Aircon whilst leaving me on the deck Burning away! Not to long after i had joined and left them to be back on the deck this time lying flat out across the floor!!! April joining me and then pierre we all took in the sites as Surrat Thani approached seeing some familiar images and some new! Its so good to be back here with my Buddies!

Well after & hours on the Boat we are sitting waiting for a Bus that will take us to Au Nang or Krabi at least. In it comes and after a brief chat with a funny Lad (Mark) from Amsterdam we all jumped aboard for a miserable second part of a journey to Krabi!!

After four hours of Arse numbing tarmac we were there and as im accostomed to not booking anything in advance we went in search of accomidation finding that everywhere was massively more expensive than i remember and also FULL!!! Ahhhhhh Pish!! So getting a little pissy we decided to split up and i left the guys with the bags so i could search with out lugging the beast about!! on being turned down everywhere i got my craving for Banana Shake so went to a little fruit stand to get Three made up!! Still in a pissy i said to the lady 'Whats the deal with digs around here???' 'Digs' she said.......?????? 'I dont understand"!!"!"!"!"'' 'Accomidation?????' 'Ahh' she said 'you want a room???' 'i know somewhere ill phone them now!!' Lets Face it guys...... if you go and buy a bag of crisps at home you lucky to get a full bag!! I went to buy a shake........ with a room thrown in!!

So i run down to the guys to say weve struck gold (turning out to be Brass) but never the less a roof over our heads!! She had got in touch with a guy who was a bit of a clown who basicly took a double room and through a camp bed in for me!! felt kinda cool actually it was like i was visiting the guys and not the other way around!!

On arrival to the room we realised it was rediculousely warm!! i mean.......... oh my god kindof Hot!! Starving though we up and left as it was nearly 11pm to get some Monge down at an Indian Restaurant! Burger and chips for me please hahahaha!!! After a bite to eat and the cheaky Beer as always we hit the sack as we have a little elephant trip booked for tomorrow!!!

Ok up at 9 and out for 10 we are in the Jeep and off on route to our location where we would see some Caves and ride a few Elephants!! Taking a little Detour we picked up two gorgeous Swedish Girls Anna and Marlene (hey Girlies) and headed down to the site after changing motors!! (you looked shit scared Anna hahahah)

Well on arrival we saw Dumbo and his buddies so over we went to jump on the glorious animals to take our trek through the grounds!!

Ahh this was great!! We trekked through numerous types of trails going from Hard surfaces to Mud and from Grass to walking through streams which was a great laugh!! My elephant was the Grand Daddy i think!! I was on me own, P and april together at the Back and Marlene and Anna were in the Middle!! Keeping pole position for most of the time i left Pierre and april to use the camera to allow them to get shots they will remember taking!! So they could get pics of them on the Phonts we shuffled about to get the Camera to me leaving me at the back where all of a sudden my Elephant got a little distracted!! He wanted Tree!! he wanted Water..... He wanted to do everything other than follow the crowd!! hahahah it was so funny!!!

So a few hours later we had trekked through some amazing scenery and went back to the 'ranch' where we got to feed them with fruit and feed our selves to!!buying the fruit and smashing my toes off routes is a real great end to any morning!! i swear to god im out to Clip my wings before ive even started!! ill be hobbled by the time i get to OZ!! Anyway limping about hahaha (slight exhageration) we feed the elephants getting our hands coverd in Snot!! those trunks are like Aliens man i swear!!

So the plan for the remainder of the early afternoon was to go see some caves!! So after checking out each others pictures ( Girls if you want any of the above or below say which ones and ill mail them as soon as possible) we all jumped back in the jeep and went out towards a rubber tree plantation which apparently is a very good investment out here!! On arrival we are told of all of its uses including the speach about Condoms whilst laughing at my face as this Rubber was so thick!! Good bit of an ice breaker really with the girls we all walked to the caves where i began to feel abit like a kid again!! Something about being with Pierre near anything adventurous hahaha (you know what i mean man!! Botanical Garden kind of adventure hahaha I almost wanted to start setting Boobie traps hahaha)

Left at the opening the guide went off to light the inside of the caves with candles whilst we all played in smaller caves until his return!! The little man was a funny Bloke!! He was all 'those girls berry berry beautiful hahaha you lucky man hahaha' funny boy!! I wish!!

So off into the Cave which was a good laugh!! it was all cramped and extremely warm!! we crawled through smaller bits to which only myself Marlene and Pierre had the guts to do!! Anna and April were to wimpy to try hahaha! After 10 minutes exploring and thinking about the candles life span we got out of there and headed back to the town to carry on with our day!!

Saying goodbye to the girls Myself Pierre and April all went for a full English before getting our arses down to the beach for some Sea Kyaking around the cliffs of Krabi!! We got down and into the water as the sea was deciding to come in slowly so we were fortunate enough to play in some waves (little that they were) but was such a laugh!! After an hour and a half of fighting on the water and splashing whilst dodging flying jelly fish and and ors we all got back to the beach in time for some acrobatics in the sun set!! Ahh man Au Nanag beach at sunset is amazing!! the colours begin well before the sun actually drops which makes the place a dream spot!!

After playing in the sea at sunset we went up to the little beachside bar for a beer to see the final bits of colour change in the sky and really talk about what the guys will do for there last few days!! The plan seems to be Railay beach and Ton Sai where we would just chill out for the remainder of there trip and stay in a Jungle hut on Ton Sai beach!!! I cant wait to get back there!!!

After beers and chats we shot up to the digs to get washed up and go play in a few bars but before we all got some shopping in for there holiday prezzies!!! After shopping and dinner (which was in the form of wicked Pizza) we all found our selves down a strip that was like the Red like district or something!! Hahaha we had a good bit of fun and it turns out April really does like the Lady Boy type of Girl hahahahaha told you id get you back!!! (explanation: We left the strip briefly in search of something more lively...... as it was my turn to choose where we went i said if we dont find anywhere we should just go back to the second bar on the right of the strip as you go back in un beknown to me what was going on in there!! turned out it was a quiet one anyway but Pore April really hoped it would be the Lady boy Bar and accused me of wanting to go there!! We know it was you just like when you pumped on the Bus and in the Jeep hahahah Love you puddin!!!! ))

So after April played a few games with the girls and boys (girlboys) we were all abit pissy arsed and shot back to the digs for some Kip!! The plan for tomorrow is to get down to Ton Sai beach for some Jungle hutting and a bit of play time on Railay Beach!! its a pretty place so i cant wait!!!

ahhhh koh tao i look back at this places with fondest memories. I also almost lost my life in a boat ride back to the main land during a storm. Scariest trip ever! hugs and love Neri baby xxxxxx O
