And the routine begins

That gray building at the end is the bus station... where I'll be leaving from tomorrow.
We’re really getting into the subject matter for each of our classes. It’s business as usual, as far as law school is concerned, with Professor Leeds (KU) and Professor Lenich (NU).

Professor Quill of the University of Limerick, on the other hand, makes me feel like I’ve been transported back to undergrad. I’ve been told that law school in Ireland is taught at the undergraduate level… which may explain why we’re lectured for 70 minutes with almost no interaction. He’s an incredibly nice and intelligent guy… just a different approach I guess.

Our group is also in the habit of eating together everday after class. Today we ate at the Stables Club on campus. I had a breaded chicken sandwich, salt & vinegar chips, and a 500 ml Diet Coke. Nothing special.

Afterward, a number of us took the campus bus downtown. It was really busy. Limerick and Castletroy are seemingly overrun with Italian teenagers who come to the university to learn english during the summer. I imagine it’s as obvious to them that I’m an American.

Lastly, the travelblog will go on hiatus until Monday, July 11 as Dan and I fly out tomorrow to London

followed by Dan, Julie, Tom and Wendy. We're standing in front of the Shannon River.
on our way to Pamplona, Spain for the San Fermin Festival/running of the bulls. It should be quite an adventure… and I do plan to have a blog with pictures for each day we’re gone. And unless I find a cheap internet connection with a USB port while I'm there… I won’t get to post them until I get back next Monday.

So stay tuned. Famous last words: “Let’s hope I make it back alive (knock, knock).”
