Today was a really casual day. I didn't get out of the house until around noon, and spent the rest of the day buying some essentials and getting lunch. I went to the Dutch version of target which is called Hema. Unfortunately it doesn't have Target's prices and I spent about 5 euro for a notebook. We ate at a place called the Crea Cafe which is the university's student center's cafe I guess. We got there during happy hour prices, and got really inexpensive, really good food. I had a brie and tomato tosti. A tosti is like a toasted sandwich. Sorry I don't have anything really interesting to report. Tomorrow classes start !
By the way, being here makes me feel ridiculously mono-cultural. Everyone here speaks a minimum of four languages...Dutch, French, German, and English are all required languages in schools and a lot of people are also fluent in Spanish. I feel lame.

ENJOY your adventures but remember to take breaks to rest and reflect often. Pics are super! I am going thru memory lane with you on the Hollanda Happenings...remembering it all and then some.....there will be more to come in the timeframe of your visit.
