This is the 4th time we come for the roasted pig on rice. The roasted pig skin is incredibly crispy.
On Jan 21, we left Pai for Chiang Mai.

While in Chiang Mai, we discovered the Sunday market. It is different from the nightly night market.

The Sunday Market consists of vendors spread of 3 KM, inside the old city. A lot of Thais visit the market, so the prices are more reasonable than the night market.

If you are in Chiang Mai on a Sunday, don't miss the Sunday market.

On the evening of Jan 22, we took the overnight bus to Bangkok. Our bus broke down shortly after we were picked up, in Chiangmai. They managed to fix the bus within two hours and we were off to Bangkok. (See photos).

A stage was set up for student performers. These are two future Thai stars. The younger one (maybe 5 years old) is especially energetic, with impressive a-go-go dancing.

Our bus to Bangkok broke down, just 10 minutes after picking us up in Chiang Mai. Within two hours, they fixed the bus and we arrived in Bangkok, about three hours behind schedule.
