This cat managed to break all of our plates and bowls.. grrrrrrr .. Oh well She's damm Cute.
Wow Has it been a long time since I've posted a blog. Don't worry though I'm still alive and stilling kickin' it. Recently the internet has been horrible due to the earthquake in Taiwan. Supposidly some fiber optics cables were damaged during the quake making any western websites unbelievably slow. But becuase its been so long since I've posted a blog I figuered that I'd put up with it and just say hello.

Christmas didn't feel like christmas becuase of the lack of snow on the ground but I figuer as you grow up its just like every other day. The only difference is you have to be in a good mood or at least should be. I assumed that there would be little to no christmas decorations or trees for the fact that China doesn't celebrate Christmas for obvious reasons but becuase they've realized foriegners spend alot of money on Christmas items there was quite the selection. As Christmas eve approached so did a horrible flu virus. A virus that would result in Brittany and I to be bed ridden for not only the 23rd and 24th of December but yes Christmas day. Luckily Britt was able to get

over the flu but as she got better I got worse. I kindof forget alot of that day but remeber ending up in the hospital with an IV in my hand. So probably not my favourite Chirstmas but at least I came out in one piece.

We entered the New Years the same as many people probably did back home by standing in a bar counting down the last seconds. We watched Alex's Band ( The BillKillers ) play for the majority of the night then went off to go bowling and just hang out all night.

I'll have to give an I. O. U. for the story portion of this blog mainly becuase I don't really have one. Life has turned back into life here in Qingdao and we are alive and well. Emma's growing and becoming increasingly curious as the days pass. One curiosity that ended with us having to buy all new plates and bowls.

As February nears, so does the spring festival in which we get some time off of work! Brittany and I will be traveling to an Island in China called Hainan to hopefully soak up some sun, explore more of

Better late than never
Not you! Me! What a bummer to be ill over Christmas and end up in hospital as well! We have one of Rachel's newly adopted cats here in isolation as she has diarrhea - needless to say, we don't want our five furry felines to become infected so I've made our guest bathroom into an isolation suite for Cookie. Cookie is getting bored but fortunately does not have access to any dishes! Hopefully she can soon get back to her roommate, Muffin. Hello to all. Love, AJ
