decorated entirely by handmade ornaments made by all of us!
The family descended on England for Christmas this year. There were 19 of us filling a youth hostel rented out in Hathersage, not far from Sheffield (a nice hostel with a huge kitchen and lots of nearby walks if you're looking for one). A lovely little town-the churchyard up on the hill is home to Little John's grave which was really cool to see. Some incredible views and then of course the typical rolling hills covered in sheep, cows, horses, ancient stone walls covered in moss and a creek (river?) winding its way through.
An excellent time was had by all with lots and lots of good cooking (which of course means good eating) wonderful walks, lots of singing, decorating, and then more eating alongside stories and games and of course lots of tea!!
