Well....after about a week of Melissa being here and settling in, we decided to go on a camping trip. So, we packed up our X-Trail and headed off. First stop was Rotorua. Here we spent a beautiful afternoon on the Skyline luge rides. There are several tracks winding down the mountain and you take a gondola a chair lift to the top and then ride down. It was SO much fun! Dennis has been going since he was a kid, but this was Melissa's first time and she loved it!. We were wishing our family and friends could be there with us. For the evening we were staying with some friends of Paul's who have a hotal in town. They showed us some great hospitality. After dinner we went to the Poynesian Spa for the natural hot springs and Mud Pools. It was a great way to end the first, very busy day of our trip!
