Just a quickupdate to wish everyone a merry christmas and happy new year. I'm much too cheap/destitute/lazy to send postcards.
This year Christmas won't be the standard winter wonderland and turkey dinners. The temperture in Perth, my present location, is always well above 30 and any cloud cover is rare. The weather man predicts 37 degrees for christmas day. It's the day before Christmas now and I still don't have any solid plans for Christmas day. Yumi and I have treated ourselves to a really nice hotel which is way out of our budget. An air conditioned room though is worth it's weight in gold. This afternoon we are going to a christmas eve BBQ in kings park with a bunch of our friends from Busselton. Christmas day we will probably end up at the beach and/or the pub.
We will be staying in Perth for another couple of weeks. We want to head out east but Yumi is having some visa problems and we have to stay until we get them sorted out. The plan is to slog through all the bureaucratic hoops by January 10th and head to Adelaide after that.
I'll post some pictures of
this crazy backwards weather and holiday celebrations in the next couple of days.
Enjoy your holidays; keep it real.

Merry Christmas Brian!
You can have your Christmas on the beach... I'm going to enjoy my cold/white Christmas! (Who am I kidding, I'd so rather be on a beach!). Merry Christmas Brian, what are your plans for New Year?
