Alishan Alishan!

This trip i went with my godfather(Philip)he is now 70years old.No one can tell his age since he still acts like he is now 50s hahaha.All the trip is no plan plan,i told him to b careful coz i'm not a well-prepared person,anyway,he told that it is ok to travel like this for the first time in his life at 70s.I call him shushu means uncle,he has a very very closed friend living in Taiwan,and we stayed with this family for many days and nights.I planned to go to three places within ten days but God didn't allow us to do so,it was raining hard when i got to Taoyuan International Airport.My uncle's friend told me that it just started raining when i got there,ooh!So what should we do then?It rained all day and all night for many nights in a roll,and i thought that we wasted too much time in Taipei.Before getting to Taipei,i made a homestay booking in Alishan for 2nights on 20th and 21st,the host names Charlies.I called Charlies on 15th that would it b good to go there before time,and does he has a room for us,i told him on the phone that i would go there on 18th and 19th but finally i just couldnt stand the very bad weather in Taipei any longer,so i head down south to Chiayi on 17th early morning.It took us almost 4hours from Zhongli Station to Chiayi railway station.and we had to transfer to a bus heading to Alishan it took us so long to get there but it worth.
We got on a bus from Chiayi to Shizhuo station and Charlies came and picked us up once we got to Shizhuo station.It took us a round ten mins to get to his homestay(Charlies and Jane Su homestay).It is a very nice place,and lucky us that there are no other guests on that night,so Charlies spent all his time with us.We talked like we knew each others for more than a decade,its kind like destiny,fate or whatever we call it for.Charlies is a very nice guy,self-sufficient,humble and very friendly.He had taken a good care of us during our time there.We extended our stay from 2nights to three nights because we felt too good with the place and Charlies.I can say that i can live there for the rest of my life,some might tell that it's exaggerated to say something like that but i really felt like that.Its not because it is the most beautiful place i've ever seen,its not that beautiful but there's something i cant explain,maybe it brings me peacefulness,and many good feelings.I've been to many places of the world but never want to stop and settle down or even think of this stuff,but his homestay give me such a feeling.When i was young i wanted to have a small house up on the hill and have a small farm,maybe this gave me like my dream come true so i just love the place once i saw it.I told Charlies that i would go visiting him when i can get day off,and hope that next time the weather would b great.I mean throughout Taiwan so i can travel to more places.There are not many foreigners or tourists in Taiwan so no need to crowd with people.Relax,slow down my pace,and enjoy!During the time i had been in Alishan,the weather was so nice,so we enjoy trekking a lots.I can't believe that once i got back to Taipei it started raining again just the minute i got there.However i could take a lots of good photos in alishan already,so i didnt care much about the rain.This trip was about to finish,on 21st early morning i had to leave for Thailand.Bye bye,Taiwan,thank you so much for everybody who took a very good care of us,thank God that it didnt rain over Alishan,thank you my godfather who gave me a chance to explore the world,thank you for being patient,i love u.

Beautiful mountain scenery,fresh air,clean water,bamboo forest,birds,frogs,eagles,sea of clouds,fog (mist),sunrise,sunset,sunglow,stars,fireflies,bamboo shoots,persimmon,highmountain oolong tea (best Alishan tea), sweet vegetables,cherrry blossom are some of the attractions to tourists.
