Hey everyone firstly, apologies for not posting one of these for awhile - we've been having way too much fun!

Westwoods up first..............
Well Thailand........ was sad to leave it to be honest - the most beautiful place I've seen up to now! The trips to the islands were AMAZING! We went to James Bond Island (they filmed part of The Man With The Golden Gun there), Phang Nga and Hong Island sea-canoeing, the latter two islands were lagoons that you had to go through caves to get too........... fruit bats everywhere! In one of the lagoons was a monkey sitting in the mangrove trees and we fed him a nana! He took it right out of your hands! The next trip was Phi Phi Islands (we were meant to be visiting Krabi aswell but the weather was too bad for us to go there), we did this by speed boat but it should of been called sore arse boat, I swear it was bouncing and jolting around constantly and you had to hold on very very tightly! Phi Phi Islands were beautiful though - saw where the Tsunami hit the worst and how they've managed to re-build with the materials from the mainland and went to Monkey Island - wild monkeys running round and robbing bananas off tourists! One grabbed my damn top when I was standing near it - scared the crap out of me! Some of them were cute though! Also went to Maya Bay - this is where they filmed the beach - paradise is all I can say, so so beautiful, the sand was so fine you could barely feel it. Finally elephant trekking and white water rafting - brilliant day. It was with an eco-adventure company so it was well organised. We got to sit on the elephants head and everything! Ours kept trying to eat all the trees as we were going through the rainforest........ white water rafting....was a bit scared but I loved it! You had to strap your feet in - good job cuz you would have gone in the water otherwise - Our guides were crazy, they kept bumping us into the rocks on purpose and we were having water fights with the other rafts and our guides kept throwing water at us aswell....... so we got soaked basically! Wicked fun though!

So that was brief I know but I don't want to bore you....... We're in Sydney now, the weather ain't that great (worst December they've had apparently!) though we went to Manly yesterday and I burnt my damn nose! Hostels.....what a shocker, ours isn't the greatest but it will do for the moment - sharing with all English people in our dorm aswell so we've been having a laugh with them and we've been out drinking every night since we got here! Getting geared up for New Years - they are setting up on the Harbour Bridge already! So excited. Don't know what we're doing for Christmas though. Sooooooo Merry Christmas - hope everyone has a fab day and save me a bit of turkey please!

Keep in touch everyone. Love Kate xx

Bettys...
Helloooooo! Hope you are all really well and looking forward to Chrimbo?
Well we are finally in Oz and i tell you what the hostel was more of a shock than Bangkok!! Jesus! Remember that hostel we stayed in in London when we went to the Ministry (Kel Charl Shaun)? think of living like that but in a room full of strangers - not your best mates! takes some getting used to but im starting to love it because its lively and noisy and wierd and thats what i want a bit of abnormality!

As Kate said Thailand was just amazing, saw and did things i couldnt believe and still cant but ive got the pics as proof! The islands blew me away, the 'beach' island was unbelievable when we get the chance we'll put some pics on. We fed wild monkeys, i saw a flying fish by the side of our speedboat, i went snorkelling and fed about 200 fish a banana which was well freaky as first, but the fish were beautiful. We went elephant trekking through the jungle and they let you sit on the elephants head, i mean just flash back to me sitting behind my desk getting RSI and cramp, then there i was sitting on some massive elephants gynourmous spikey haired head! Surreal!

Liking Sydney so far its alot smaller than i expected, alot like home but with a hint of the USA too. Its got a great atmousphere tho very chilled and the people seem very friendly. We went to manly beach yesterday cos the sun was out and that was an amazing place, just loved it - cant believe that people are that lucky to be brought up there. The kids come back from school and go straight to the beach with their mates, their glam moms have picnics and sunbathe - nothing like Walsall! Then we saw a RHCP tribute band - they were brill the Aussies were going mental!

Having a fab time so far, its going really quick but soooo not feeling xmassy, just gonna go do some shopping the clothes are very cool so think im gonna have to buy a bigger backpack too!Ooops!

Anyways... thanks for the emails, please write lots - love hearing from you all! Have a great xmas!
Loads of Love
