Fourteenth and Fifteenth Weeks - Dec. 2 - 15

Dec. 2: The whole family went to an Onsen again this afternoon. It’s the same one that we went to last week. It was a lot of fun. It was also snowing today and is supposed to snow all week long. I’m excited for it. Some of my friends are going skiing on Sunday. I decided not to since I’ve only skied twice and don’t want to risk breaking something three weeks before I fly home. For those of you who don’t know, I will be leaving Japan and arriving at home on Christmas Day. I can’t wait! It’ll be exciting to have two Christmas Days in one year in two different countries.

Dec. 8: Hi-C had a farewell party for all the foreign exchange students. It was a lot of fun and I took a lot of pictures.

Dec. 11: For brunch we went to the Prince Hotel. It is a round tower, a very interesting structure for a hotel. We ate in the restaurant in the bottom. The food was awesome! I loved the irony of the Palm Trees, and almost blizzard like conditions outside. It was a lot of fun; most of the family went including Grandma’s sisters. That afternoon I went to a Classical Ballet with Mama, Sayaka, and Mami. It was pretty good. One section of it was a Christmas story, which was fun to see.

Dec. 14: This was the last day of Japanese. All five class levels said their Japanese speech in the morning. They were all pretty interesting. It was fun. Mama, Sayaka, and Grandma came to hear my speech.

Dec. 15: Today is the last day of classes. I have one class today and then I am done.

I haven’t been up to much lately, so there isn’t much of anything to talk about. All my time lately has been filled up by studying for my final tests in Japanese and Language and Gender. I also had to make a presentation for my Japanese Culture class. Between studying and studying I haven’t had much time to do anything.

Next week a friend and I are planning on doing a bunch of sightseeing activities, so I’ll try to get them posted before I leave Sapporo. Merry Christmas Everyone!

Hey!
Hi Joy! Some interesting posts you got there. How are you doing? I hope you don't miss Japan too much. I know I will when I leave. Take care.
