On the way to the Grampians
At Six in the morning we all wake, up, to our tour guide Mark banging on the door. After a quick Breakfast we all jump back on the bus, for the next part of our tour. Off to the Grampians. On the way there we travel through the old lava plain's just south of the Grampians, which is home to alsorts of wildlife, while traveling through we are fortunate to see koalas, kangaroos, wallabies and emus. We then travel on to the Brambuk Aboriginal cultural centure, where learnt about their culture and also about the forest, how the bush fires are all part of life, some tree's will only germinate when the fire heat's up the seed pod's so they explode. last year about 70% of the forest was burn't due to a massive bush fire that was caused by lighting. but as we look around the forest it is all coming back to life. One of the first plants to come back after a fire is the tree grass (black boys as the aussie's call them).
After a bit of education it was then on to Reeds lookout, to take in the view over the Grampains. Then it was on

to Mackenzie falls, After a long walk down, it was a great veiw looking up at the falls. Then finally we head on to Hollow mountian. where we take a hike/climb to the top, to take in the view.
In the evening we enjoyed a lovely BQQ which included kangaroo.
