Going to the Night Market:

The other day we went to the night market in Taipei called Shilin. I went into a shop with lots of shoes and I bought some runners. The store was not built in a mall it was built in a stand on the sidewalk. It was very small.

When we got hungry we went to a corn dog stand. It was small. It had many lights and was very hot and they put out a display of them. There was original, pepper and cheese. I had the original one. After we were done eating we went to a ring stand and I bought a ring for my middle finger. The lady from the stand said I was very cute. I said thank Shay-Shay and that means thank you in Chinese.

When we were done getting my ring, we went into a little shop that had bracelets and necklaces and you could get your nose pierced and ears pierced. My mom asked me if I wanted to get my nose pierced and I said “No”. (note from mom: I wasn’t serious!  )

The night market had pretty lights and had lots of

people and food stands. I felt crowded. It was neat. We took a subway train to get there. (MRT) The train was very skinny and had a lot of people. When it moved we went backwards. The people let me and Miles sit down. There were handles like buses in Nanaimo and mom hung onto one. Getting off the train was busy.

We had to put our ticket in the machines to get on the train.

Yesterday we had a sitter. They took us on a train to get to the 101 tower. When we were done eating there, we went upstairs to look at the stores. We saw the little fountain that sprayed up and made patterns when it went up and down. We saw a big tree that had 2007 on it. The best thing about the 101 tower is that there are a lot of escalators. I like riding up and down on them. We went in to toy store and saw dolls and stuffys.

We went to a fair that had Santa Claus and the clown next to Santa gave me a mouse made of balloons. He gave my brother and Wayne one

too except theirs were dogs and Mile popped his.

When we went home I bought a little pooh bear hat with pom-poms on it.

Nen and I were playing on the bed and we were playing horsey and he gave me a kiss.

Bye.

Cool
I really like your blog today, lots of fun pictures of you, I bet the market was fun. The corn dog looks great. Grandpa Brian would like that, its one of his favorite things to eat. The snow is gone now and we just had a really nice hot tub under the tree. I guess you will be going to Thailand soon. Let me know how that is. Love to you and Miles and your mom of course. Big Hugs Grandma D.

That corn dog sure looks good! I would get original too. I like your bracelet and it is neat that it will break instead of you. Escalators are so great, I like to go on them when I see them too. Nen is so cute giving you kisses. Bye for now. Nice pics!
