Don't ask which one
Chiang Mia is what every Traveller needs after Bangkok. Cool nights, clean air and cheaper beer. As luck would have it, our arrival also considered with the Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2006. Flower shows are not something that we find all that interesting at home, but we were told by numerous people that it was a must see. The flower show is kind of like Octoberfest of the Flower world; but with out the beer, October or fest. Well it might be the heat stroke talking, but we had a great time and I think the photos will attest to that.

We spent the best part of the day there getting burnt and having school kids saying “Hello, what’s your name” and “Where are you from”. We don’t think they have seen anybody with red and white skin before.

The day ended by us witnessing a coach back into a light post and it falling on a couple of poor souls and then our bus dropping us off in the middle of the street, so we had to make a mad dash to the footpath. Thailand and road accidents are a part of life, as we were soon to discover.

Back home we use toilet paper, but the Monks from another temple are a bit more elaborate with their practical jokes.
