Oct 22nd 2006 Having lived in Nashville for 4 years, fall colors or pictures during fall were not a big deal for me. But that was not to be. For my sister Anitha who is here since Aug 2006, this was her first fall and
this trip was for her 😊
The 444-mile Natchez Trace Parkway commemorates an ancient trail that connected southern portions of the Mississippi River, through Alabama, to salt licks in today's central Tennessee. The National Scenic Byway and All-American Road can be experienced through driving, hiking, biking, horseback riding, and camping. We took a drive through the portion of the Natchez Trace Parkway close to Nashville, TN.
We were a week too late to witness the full foliage of fall colors. The colors were at a peak but many of the trees had shed their leaves. We did have fun though and here are a few pictures from this trip.
