So we are now staying in Hat Ton Sai in Railey, now this truely is paradise, we are surrounded by jungle and limstone cliffs and a pristine beach. You can only acccess the area by boat even though it is on the mainland and to reach the neighbouring beaches and cashpoints you have to hike up a mountain or treck across rocks out to sea which makes things more adventourous at night time!

For some reason i seem to be attracting all kinds of wildlife everywhere I go. Our room despite having concrete walls seems to be breeding creatures. On the first day the room was invaded with giant ants and there was a cockroach in the bathroom and at night I opened the bathroom door and from the corner of my eye I saw what I thought was a black thread as I took a step over it I realised on closer in spection it was a black SNAKE!!!! AGHHHHH..... OK it was a baby one but it was terrifying. I ran to seek help from the staff and on our return it disapperared. Taking a shower was fun, as there was a wall climbing worm slidding around next to me, to add to my comfort. After the shower a large, black, crawling centipede appeared next to my feet.

After a few medicinal vodkas we return to our shack, we open the door to what looks like a large flying cockroach, I then opened the bathroom door only to find the same snake sat there staring at me, whilst leila is trying to catch the flying object im trying to scare off the snake. It eventually slithered off into a crack in the wall along with the cockroaches and Leila caught the flying beast.

Once in bed, traumatised I had to flick a beetle from my bed. The days events guaranteed a great nights sleep with a loose snake, bettle, cockroach, centapede not to mention the mozies and ants in the room. To top it off we have a snake living in our wall. Fantastic. And I thought ant invasions and Mozies were bad.

The next day I sit at a table for breakfast and something bites my thigh, I look down to see a spotted beattle with large antenaes. I moved seat and very shortly a large black spider crawls over my hand! Aghh.. cant escape. This has really hardened me to the nasty creatures out there in preperation for Oz!
