There is a lot of down time when it comes to travelling. I wake up every morning, I read a bit, I maybe eat something and then walk somewhere and see some stuff. I come back to the guesthouse and read some more, and that is followed by more eating. I feel like I feel when i'm at home and unemployed except for there is less watching of Days of our Lives here.

Robin and I made friends with some Americans from Ohio who are staying at the same guesthouse. Very nice folks who enjoy eating as much as I do, so it works out great.

I can't even tell you the number of games of Jenga that were played last night. I've never really played Jenga before, but man, add Jenga to a bottle of whiskey and you'll have the best night of your life. Speaking of games, Robin spent some time the other night playing connect four with a ladyboy until the wee hours. Sounds like a real laugh riot.

Tomorrow night we are going to head down to the Kavila Stadium and see some Muay Thai fights. That is the only activity we have planned until Sunday when we leave for Pai.

I apologize that this blog isn't very exciting/witty/funny, but I really haven't been doing anything that has been exciting/witty/funny. It'll happen, I swear.

missing home and the cold,
-d.
