We arrived in Leeds and headed to the laundromat. We found a nice one and proceeded to do our last laundry. Hooray! After, we couldn't check into our hotel because it was too early, so we headed over to the Royal Armory Museum to go thru it. It was huge! It was 5 floors of armor, guns and weapons of all kind. No photos were allowed, so no pics were taken on this day. We found our hotel, had a drink, unpacked and went to dinner. We got up this morning and headed out to Stamford. We found a great manor to visit on the way there. It is called Burghley House. It is still used by the family that owns it. It is set on 11,000 acres. It is a huge house. They also have a large garden area. The inside of the house is unbelievable! Tons of paintings from the 16th and 17th century and whole rooms painted from floor to ceiling. We took some cool photos of some of the rooms. Tomorrow, we drive to Cambridge to see the Universities there.

I love the old portraits in the pool table room.
