Horah, yippe, whoopie doo.... back in Thailand!! No more (extreme) poverty/ magots in your food/ hard work travelling for us!!

The prospect of spending a week travelling overland in ex military buses to return to Thailand got us swiftly on a flight back! What complete luxury compared to those buses! Bangkok seems rather tranquil in comparison to Hanoi, never thought Id think that and how convenient being able to find somewhere to eat and an internet cafe in the same street!

We didnt hang around though, straight down to the Islands for us, 13 hours later and very tired form attempting to sleep on a bus blasting out Thai pop music, we arive in paradise on Ko Toa. What an island, crystal clear waters, coral reef, white beaches, mountainous jungle backdrops, ah bliss! We learnt how to dive surrounded by illuminous fishies! It was amazing and so weird to be 10 metres deep and breathing, I was terrified though and the instructor was pulling me around as I kept almost hitting the reefs! I enjoyed it but cant really afford to get the certificate unfortunately.

From Koh Tao we made the error of visiting Koh Samui, despite the white beaches and palm trees this Island is the Thail equivalant of the Dutch redlight district , full of lady boys and middle aged western men. It is also only built up for tourism so think id rather stay in Stains! Unfortunatly I got ill and couldnt leave for 4 days.

Once recovered we swiftly moved on to Koh Phangan for a week of partying. We stayed on the famous full moon party beach (Had Rin, the largest beach parties in the world) and discovered we werent going to be able to sleep until 6am everynight because of the music. Our room was infested with ants and a cockroach after one day (usually takes 2 or 3) so we quickly moved. We met lots of randomers, mostly Israelies and danced the nights away. The full moon party itself was pretty crazy, theres nothing like having your drink spiked and having your flip flops stolen to guarante a good night! Once i recovered from my state I managed to enjoy myself though and danced until the sun rose over the sea. Ah beautiful...
