im headed to tokyo in 2 weeks and i land in Chicago at 9:50am yet dont board next plane til 12:50pm so i have some time to kill. is there anything close to Ohare International to go check out or am i trapped in the airport for hours on end?

Actually 3 hours in O'Hare isn't that bad and it will take a little while to get to your connecting flight. Could be worse! In the winter that airport is notorious for shutting down and people end up spending a few nights there. There's plenty of little shops and things to browse through to kill time. Have a great trip!
