Question on food prices affecting travel.
with the worlds food price going up has it affect the way people travel especially the Budget Traveler.

It hasnt effected my travelling. There are always economical things to buy in each country even when food prices in general rise.

Reply to this I think the actual cost of food effects significantly only the worlds poorest. ie those who need to spend three quarters of their income on food.
I think that although rising food prices wont effect even budget travellers decision to travel moneywise, it may effect tourism in general because of the following.
Protests and riots have broken out in some countries over the rising cost of many basic foods.... From :
