new year Reply to this Happy New Year to all Iranian members of TravelBlog.
How are u celebrating today? What are u eating? Who are u visiting?
Would Iranians recommend that travellers visit Iran at this time of the year or should we avoid it?
Have u ever travelled in Iran at this time of the year? If so what were your experiances?
Reply to this 20th March is Noruz (Persian and Zoroastrian New Year), and also Naw Ruz (Bah'ai New Year).... so I'd just like to extend the New Years wishes to everyone across Iran, Iraq, India, Afghanistan, Tajikestan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan who celebrates.
As the Vernal Equinox also marks the Pagan fesitivals of Eostre and Ostara then Happy Equinox as well!!!
Reply to this Are u in one of those countries right now Anna?
If so, how are u celebrating? 😊

Reply to this Nope! Stuck here in England amongst the piles of text books and research papers! 😞 I did get an invite from a friend in Iran but couldn't make it this year - maybe in the future! My boyfriend spent part of his New Year with me and I have had an Eostre celebration (involving chocolate eggs naturally) and the Easter service at my local church!
Reply to this Sorry to hear u are glued to the books but chocolate eggs make up for a lot. 😊
