Costa Rica has seemed to cool off, is it still a place that people want to build their dream home and retire?
Reply to this Hi Livin from what i saw they are still sticking condos up with little thought, so id imagine you could get a place there, although i prefer a place with some character as appose to a row after row of identkit condos and subways on every corner, but each to there own.

Reply to this Yeah, i just moved to the Fishing town of Playas del Coco. Condo projects are all over the place, but here along the coast close to the Four Seasons, it's gorgeous and quite a few local and high end restaurants. This place has much to learn and it looks like they will make come together. This place is too beautiful to waste.
Reply to this it seems to be pretty popular for romantic getaways these days. i know about 6 couples who have gone to costa rica lately and they all have amazing things to say about this paradise.

Reply to this What a great time to buy own here. I know the dollar is weak, but that opens the door for Europeans and Russians to basically get a steal on Ocean view mansions and villas. Everyday this city gets bigger and better.
