Where's good to stay in NYC when I've only got 3 nights there, and want to see as much as poss!
HI,
I am stopping in New York City for 3 nights, and would like to see as much as possible (Time Square, Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, WTC Memorial, Wall Street).
Can anyone recommend where I should stay in NYC, which is good for getting about to these places?
Or even better, can anyone recommend a hostel to stay in?
Thanks
Reply to this I stayed at the Jazz hostels (http://www.jazzhostels.com) and loved it. I was at the one in Harlem, and it was a good middle ground, cheap, clean (despite the cold showers a nice hostel), and best yet VERY close to the subway. That's probably the best way of getting around without breaking the bank with cab fares. You can buy a ticket on the subway that is for multiple rides and you get a discount if you buy enough. I was there in May for about the same amount of time and got to see a ton of things.
Reply to this Thanks, someone who shall name anonymous has booked the Continental Hostel. No idea what its like or anything about, and its too late now!!!
Thanks for the recommendation anyway.
