Any tips on where to go, what to see & do, and where to stay? Am not into history and art. I like the feel of small towns with local craft, plenty of cafes or teashops for quick meals and caffeine loading, easy nature walks, and some attractions. Budget traveller, but not a backpacker. Ok to staying in a youth hostel but cleaniness and safety are key considerations. Likely to travel with a companion. I can drive but I'm unlikely to do so since they drive on the wrong side of the road.
Reply to this In the capital, Ottawa, you can see the Parliament, National Art Gallery, National Arts Centre (to see a musical or play), Gatineau Park, the new War Museum, etc.
