Reply to this Not that I've come across yet - it would definitely beat the old map and red pencil routine.
There were plans at one stage for the maps used by Travelblog to become (slightly) more detailed, although I think its a little way off yet.

maps.google.com - Hoping to use this on travelblog soon(ish) - waiting for better coverage and in a more organised fashion. Lots of custom projects are underway to do various things - I'm sure a route illustrator is in the works...
