I will land in L.A. July 7th and leave again July 17th (well, I might stay a bit longer).
So far I don´t really have a clue where to go, where to stay.
Does anybody have some good advices? Or is maybe somebody around there too at that time?
Reply to this What's your budget and what do you want to see? LA has a lot to offer but it's spead out so having a car really helps. If you're looking for a low-budget place, I recommend a hostel in Santa Monica, on 2nd Street. It's near the Santa Monica Pier and 3rd Street Promenade (tourist are w/lots of shops & restaurants).

i agree with yubert, you will want to rent a car. if you do, and you have time, don't limit yourself to just LA - some great side trips are San Diego, Santa Barbara, and the wineries visited in the movie Sideways!
