Lodging in California - really urgent

Guys, I am on road triup in California and I have a lot of trouble finding cheap motels around here. The only one I found by now was motel 6. If anyone knows some cheaper options (I am travelling alone so I have to pat for the whole room... they charge 50-60 a day and I was hoping for less...) please write me how to find them. Maybe there is some cheaper motel chain I don't know... You would helo me a lot as I love it here and would like to stay even longer than I planned. Reply to this
