This will sound crazy...and it is. But I have an idea. I'm a little right now via horrific car accident. It screwed me hard and bad, and now i have to start over, like OVER over, from nothing.
I lost my job, i'm single, i'm brokeskis!, and facing a sparkling list of important life decisions that i'm not ready to be making.
I have these options...Move back in with parents (booo), go army? (yea right), find someone rich who will sweep me up off my feet and seduce me with the lap of luxury(i dont even want that)...OR, I could use this as an opportunity, as a window!, to say "hey world! You need me, and i'm going to take this freedom as a sign, and i'm going to explore sustainable living and help create a change in the world. I'm going to travel from commune to commune across america, living off of the land and exchanging my labor for organic foods, lodging, and transportation! While meeting and participating with various rights activists along the way." I'll serve my country My way. And I want you to come too...if that's what your into. I really want to do this because right now is a perfect time, and just feeling bad isn't enough of a humaniterian and environmentalist effort. Think it sounds awesome!!!? Let's go then, live in communes, live organicly off of the land, dedicating ourselves to environmental causes, and any other cause that we meet in our travels. it'll me an amazing story you can tell everyone when you're old. Let's pick up litter and flowers along the way!

Let me know asap I wanna go soon. I have myspace and pictures and such for you if you're interested. But i dont get online too much so let's be hastey :-) i'll be around a comp thru the weekend. in case you wonder.... i'm 22, a girl, pretty cool i guess, don't drink too much anymore, spiritual, free-spirited, kid at heart, silly, and really down to earth and fun for the most part with a penchant for helping and fighting for causes, and an absolute literal tree-hugger.

Good luck to you! I wish I had the time and the courage to do such a thing, but sadly I am lacking in both. May this trip be all you hoped for.
