Airline fees and weight restrictions have impacted how much luggage people travel with.
Do you take your gear or rent it on trips? have the fees changed your travel habits?
Reply to this I think it's nice to take gear with you -- especially fins, watch, suit because that custom-fit can really make the dive better, more reliably comfortable and cheaper. That being said, I don't think I could ever travel with my own tank, which some folks do.
