Welcome to World Beats Ren...where we discover sounds other than pop culture...where worlds meet in song...just like we do when travelling.
One day I'll visit the Shrine in Lagos...the home of Afrobeat...founded by Fela Kuti and continued by his eldest son Femi Kuti...and while I'm waiting...I'll just get into the music. Thanks for posting.

Although I grew up in Asia, and that was the extent of my World Music, I really wasn't a fan of that sound. So all I have to offer is what I grew up with, and the memories the songs bring back.
