The thread for Western iconic Blues music...blues in my system...feeling good.
Sigh.....another one departs the grand stage.
Although the group has had many tunes that I like....this is my all-time favorite.....
"Jesus just left Chicago"
Reply to this Charlie Watts has shuffled off this mortal coil, but leaves behind a great body of percussive work....
Here's an early tune..."Confessing the Blues"
Reply to this Thanks for putting this up. I didn't know Charlie very well - he was always a private person - but my first "concert" was on Eel Pie Island where the Stones were the first act and the Yardbirds were the main act. It was a long walk home (about an hour) but it was worth it. I later got to know Mick - his father was my sister's tutor at university - and our band played lead up to the Stones a few times. Small world!

Reply to this LARRY McCRAY has been around playing blues for 30 plus years. I've got one of his earlier albums
Recently re-discovered by Joe Bonamassa who compares him with BB King, Albert Collins and Little Milton and Joe is producing Larry's latest album with Josh Smith
From that Album "BLUES WITHOUT YOU"
