Reply to this Few people remember that Billy Idol was once part of a band called Generation X. Even fewer remember that after he went solo, he rerecorded part of his own band's back catalog on his early solo albums. Here is the original version of a song that is now quite famous (Sorry for the poor video quality, its over three decades old!)

Reply to this This is a letter that frankly I (Dave) have not been looking forward to....but one must press on. So now, right out of the gate, I give you...Xavier Cugat. (sans Charo).
Reply to this I have noticed that Dancin' Dave will invoke the rules from time to time and I respect that. On the other hand, you all know I play fast and loose with the rules.....so here is Brand X, one of my favorite progressive jazz groups. Phil Collins actually played drums with them for a while....
Reply to this MJ here.
In my search for some X's I'll have to expose all of us to something I'd never listened to.

Reply to this Patiently, patiently waiting for the week of "Y." Why you may ask? Because it's time for Neil Young. Why you may ask? Because rock n' roll can never die. This tune has some of the greatest lyrics ever.....
Is this the story of Johnny Rotten?
