Faye and I spent many many of our younger years hitting up as many festivals as we could, thankfully in the UK there are heaps, catering to every musical taste there is. Sadly they're not that cheap and we spend all our money overseas instead now.

The bid daddy of the festival scene is of course Glastonbury and we've been lucky enough to have been there many times (for free before before they built that damn 'super fence'). Glastonbury is great as its not a Rock festival, a Dance festival a metal festival, it's touted as a festival of performing and contemporary arts. You can watch REM, then walk along and see circus performers, walk a bit further to another stage and watch Peruvian pan pipers... The variety is extraordinary! I've been wracking my mind thinking of artists we've seen there and these guys popped up...

I'm a 'metal head' first and foremost but if it's loud and fast I can get into it!!! These guys, live, blew me away!

Anyway here are the Peatbog Faeries, Scottish contemporary folk music.... Bagpipes and fiddles to an electronica beat!!!
